Rebecca McCann
BSN, RN, IBCLC, PMH-C
Rebecca has worked with babies and new families since 2005. She started her career as a mother-baby RN where she developed a love of helping new families with breastfeeding. In 2010, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She worked in the hospital as a Lactation Consultant on mother-baby units, in the NICU, and in an outpatient clinic for 10 years before opening a private practice. Rebecca is also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).

Rebecca is a military spouse and mom to three breastfed boys. She has lived in all four corners of the United States and currently resides in Arlington, VA.

Rebecca strives to help her clients meet their own personal feeding goals, and supports them in making the feeding choices that are best for their family. She would be honored to work with you - wherever you are on your feeding journey, and however you choose to feed your baby.

Bringing a new baby into your family is a truly special and exciting time! It can also be very hard. Many new parents face mental health challenges, such as postpartum depression or anxiety. Your mental health will be a priority during every lactation consultation with Rebecca, and she will encourage you to take your mental health into consideration when you create a feeding plan together.
